ENGLAND END 2009 SIX NATIONS ON A HIGH NOTE

A sun drenched Twickenham has seen England beat Scotland 26-12 in an entertaining encounter. Despite the win, Scotland Rugby Team exposed a lot of the nagging problems that exist in the England set up.

The anthems were sung and Scotland got us underway.

Scotland settled first and were looking to play a high tempo game to unsettle the hosts.England were just as happy to spread the ball in the first 5 minutes with Cueto looking sharp.

England even in the early stages were getting penalised and Chris Paterson was handed the opportunity to open the scoring he duly took the chance and Scotland led 3-0 after 9 minutes.

Scotland were winning the breakdown battle, Tom Evans swooped on one such turnover and golloped 50 metres only to be hauled down a metre from the line by Monye.

England Rugby Team were looking dangerous with the ball in hand but penalties were hampoering their ability to build pressure.
